PDFPlunkett Cooney elects three to board of directors
During Plunkett Cooney’s recent annual meeting, partners Lisa A. Hall, Audrey J. Forbush and Benjamin M. Glazebrook were elected by their colleagues to serve as members of the firm’s board of directors.
Glazebrook was elected to his first two-year term, and Hall and Forbush were re-elected to two and three-year terms, respectively.
A member of the Plunkett Cooney’s Detroit office, Glazebrook serves as leader of the firm's Transportation Law Practice Group. He focuses his litigation defense practice primarily in the areas of motor vehicle liability and Michigan No-Fault law.
Glazebrook represents the insured policyholders of some of the nation’s leading auto insurance providers. These matters typically involve claims of first and third-party liability, as well as uninsured and underinsured motorist claims. He also has extensive experience resolving cases of alleged fraud and suspicious claims involving insureds and medical providers.
Admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in Michigan, Glazebrook is also a member of the firm's Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He received his law degree in 2006 from the Wayne State University Law School and his undergraduate degree in 2002 from the University of Michigan.
Hall, who is a member of the firm’s Grand Rapids office, maintains a wide-ranging practice that includes expertise in banking law, commercial litigation, creditors’ rights, liquor licensing, municipal liability and real estate law. Her clients include financial institutions, insurance providers, municipalities and other public entities.
Admitted to practice law in state and federal courts in Michigan, Hall received her law degree, cum laude, from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2006. She received her undergraduate degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University in 2003.
The managing partner of Plunkett Cooney's Flint office and the senior vice-president of the firm’s board of directors, Forbush focuses her practice in the areas of employment and municipal litigation with particular expertise in the defense of municipalities in police liability, discrimination and harassment matters.
Forbush is a member of the State Bar of Michigan’s Governmental Law Section and the Genesee County Bar Association’s Public Corporation Section. She serves as legal advisor to the Law Enforcement Action Forum, an organization consisting of select law enforcement executives throughout Michigan.
Forbush received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 1988 and her undergraduate degree from Central Michigan University in 1984.
