Areas of Practice
Michael’s practice focuses on patent litigation, with experience across a variety of technology-driven industries including energy, oil and gas (downstream and midstream), software, banking, transportation, and electronics.
Michael regularly represents clients in complex litigation matters in federal courts throughout the country and has extensive experience managing all phases of litigation, including developing pretrial strategy, handling discovery, and preparing cases for trial. He has participated in multiple jury and bench trials, where he has examined both fact and expert witnesses, argued evidentiary motions, and been actively involved in trial presentations. He has also played important roles in precedential appellate victories. Michael is known for his hands-on approach to litigation and his practical, detail-oriented advocacy in the courtroom.
A dedicated member of the legal community, Michael maintains an active pro bono practice. He has secured asylum for political refugees and domestic violence survivors, helped protect the rights of disabled students, and provided legal assistance to military veterans in family law and estate planning matters.
