Chaz Billington and Adam Borgman, attorneys in the Vorys labor and employment group, presented a webinar titled "HR Data Audits & AI Compliance: Managing Employee Data, Vendor Risks and Legal Exposure" on May 28 from noon until 1:00. 

The webinar focused on the legal and compliance risks that continue to rise as HR professionals handle increasing volumes of employee data across various systems.  Attendees learned how to audit HR data flows, identify where sensitive information is stored, and how to proactively prepare for legal inquiries or employment disputes.  Billington and Borgman guided attendees through reviewing vendor contracts for data ownership, understanding how AI tools impact FCRA compliance, implementing effective AI controls and governance, and more.
