Minority Cannabis Business Association 

Jabari Shaw, an associate in the firm's intellectual property group and a member of its cannabis, hemp and CBD practice, spoke at the Minority Cannabis Business Association's monthly Ask Me Anything series on February 5.  The theme of the session was intellectual property law and the cannabis industry.  Topics included when business owners should start taking steps to protect their intellectual property, whether there is real value in state trademarks or whether business owners should focus on federal registration, what to do with one's intellectual property if they are considering closing their business and more.
