RILA-RLC's Spring Legal Meeting

Cory Catignani, a partner in the Vorys Orange County office and member of the labor and employment group, spoke at the RILA-RLC's Spring Legal Meeting in Washington, D.C. on March 3.  The title of his presentation was "Remote Work as a Reasonable Accommodation." 

The presentation focused on an increase in work-from-home requests as an accommodation as employers tighten return-to-office policies.  Cory offered a number of steps for considering remote work as an accommodation, including engaging in the interactive process, determining essential job functions, evaluating employee capabilities and more.
