Overview

Erin is an associate in the firm’s Houston office and a member of the litigation group, where her practice focuses on complex commercial disputes.  She represents clients across a range of industries, with particular experience in commercial construction litigation, personal injury defense and breach of contract matters.  In her construction practice, Erin advises owners, general contractors and subcontractors on a variety of claims including delays, defective work and warranty claims, and payment issues.  In her personal injury defense practice, she represents companies and insurers in cases involving premises liability, negligence and related claims.  Erin approaches her cases with a practical, detail-oriented mindset, working to efficiently evaluate risk and develop strategies that align with her clients’ business objectives.

Across her practice, Erin navigates complex factual records and distills them into clear, persuasive arguments.  She works closely with clients to understand their goals and provide thoughtful, responsive counsel at every stage of litigation, from pre-suit discussions and initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice and resolution.

Erin clerked for the Honorable Magistrate Judge Stephen Dries of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin.

Erin earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her B.A. from the University of Texas.
