AI for Retailers: Navigating the Contractual and Ethical Pitfalls (Webinar)

Craig Auge and Alycia Broz, partners in the Vorys Columbus office, presented a webinar on February 18 as part of the 2026 Retail Webinar Series.  The title of the presentation was "AI for Retailers: Navigating the Contractual and Ethical Pitfalls." 

The webinar focused on applying well-known legal concepts to lesser-known AI elements, while informing viewers on being prepared for unique issues, complexity as well as potential risks and liabilities that are associated with the types of data and sources of data that are used to train generative AI-based models and solutions.  Auge and Broz also discussed ethical considerations for the use of these tools by lawyers and other users.
