Sachiyo Peterson and Asafu Suzuki, attorneys in the Vorys labor and employment group, presented a webinar on March 26 as part of the 2026 Retail Webinar Series.  The title of the presentation was "Evolving Immigration Considerations for Retailers." 

The webinar covered essential topics including I-9 and E-Verify compliance, strategies for navigating worksite enforcement actions and best practices for managing work visa programs including the H-1B.  Attendees also learned how proactive planning can help retailers stay ahead in a rapidly shifting regulatory and enforcement environment under the current administration.
